Prom, I was going to give you a hard time for starting this thread but you've got a higher post count than me soooooo...
Besides you do have a good point. I think it's the gap between the last regular season game and the bowl game. People get bored, wander, and coaching is a Rant hot button issue right now. It should calm down :fingerscrossed:

I find it funny the same people hwo constantly bash les miles for caoching are the ones who say we have lost edge in recruiting. Lke our classes have not panned out since he has been here, or that we are losing instate kids. If you go by this logic then our teams really havent been that talented, yet we are still winning 9-10 games a year. So which is it? Either recruiting is awesome and we have the talent and should be losing 1 game a year at most, or we dont have the talent and Les is actually winning 10 games a season with not so great talent.

I've RA'ed a couple times, but it's gotten to the point where there's no use.
Seriously, if I wanted to read, "they're going to suck because Crowton/Miles are the coaches" in every thread, I'd go to the Rant. 98% of each thread that is started on that board lately, there's ALWAYS someone complaining about the coaches and LSU never having a chance at winning another game again as long as the game of football is being played at LSU.
I come here to keep tabs on incoming recruits and try to dish out information as well but having to filter through all the bullshite, it's getting to the point of not being worth even checking.
Let me have it. I know what's coming. "So you started a thread whining about whining!" "You're a Miles lover!" "Rantard!" "Coaches deserve criticism." " " That's pretty predictable.
All of that is for the Rant. This board was created for a reason and it's loooong drifted away from what it was originally created.

It is disappointing that some of the posters on here that I considered more serious are leading the parade. I guess time to get on the bandwagon! We will only sing players that Texas and Bama and AU don't want and even then, those players will long for playing at Tech or Tulane... oh we are screwed!

I agree completely Prominetwon. I very rarely post on this board because I lack the depth of knowledge on recruiting issues. But I always liked to check it out for the more calm and considered information.
The Rant is one thing. The flood of crap on the Rant at least results in record traffic for Chicken's site. Andthe rant was never a bastion of intellectual p;rowess anyway.

Prom, the mods seem to act pretty fast on deleting a lot of threads I post in as well as Jen Seastrunk. I don't know who keeps RA'ing them but you guys miss out on a lot.

I've looked on the help board to see if someone requested the threads in question to be deleted. I could not find any such posting. So I can't defend what I might of said that offended someone. I have waited for an e-mail but no one has e-mailed me to let me know if I stepped over the line. I wish I would have copied those threads for future reference.
