I would agree if it was a personal attack on a recruit. You know degrading their looks or their choice in school.
But a thread about whether LSU should take player A or B? I think thats fair. I come to the recruiting board to look at analysis of players, to view highlights and make my own judgments. I also value the judgements of others on this board and like to see their views on the matters. I also appreciate the juicy insight of certain posters into individual recruits (people in the know).
In my opinion threads about who has bigger calves, what color socks they wear or what sign a certain recruit is flashing are all unuseful. To each his own though.

its not that i get mad. i just think yall go about it the wrong way. Nothing yall have done has made this board better. Why not try a few simple things?
1. RA and DONT RESPOND. How hard is it to just not respond to a dumb thread and just let it die to page 5? Very hard it seems, because you all just chime in and keep dumb threads going.
2. If you have to respond, TEACH THE DUMBASS. "hey man, not appropriate, would you mind editing that or deleting the thread." Antagonizing them doesnt help the situation at all. The OP will just get defensive and argue a dumb thread to save face. Or they will never respond and the hacks will debate back and forth on how stupid the thread was.

Bottom line is you play and you go to the nfl. We have more players in the nfl than any other sec team.

And Dodd I agree with your sentiment but you know that as the recruiting season gets full swing in about a month that the trolling on here will be out of hand.
Look at it now.

I follow recruiting and I've been reading this board regularly since January 2007. Look at the number of posts below my name... Just because someone doesn't post, it doesn't mean he's a "troll", or otherwise uninformed.
It's dumbasses like you that measure your worthiness by the number of posts under your name that are turning this board in another Rant.
