He's got heart too. That's what usually seperates the also ran from the great ones.

I hope he gets 99# considering his uncle wore that.

Me with Oliver Lawrence at the Central Virginia LSU Alumni Association Crawfish Boil last May. There was never any doubt that Rashard was not going to LSU.

I believe his father played QB at ULM (previously NLU). Can anyone confirm this?

He played at NLU then transferred to Grambling (or vice versa). Ronald (Stein) used to work for me when I managed Sam's in Monroe. Nice guy. He was a fulltime fire fighter, too.

I haven't talked to him during this after season recruiting process but I'm pretty sure Stein was happy, he just doesn't show it. He has a twin brother, Donald. The 2 of them were a killer combo in high school.

Did they go to Neville or Carroll?

If I'm not mistaken he went to Carroll & I think he transferred to Neville. I was living in Amarillo when he was in high school. That's his twin brother, Donald, in the picture (far left)

The best thing about Rashard is having O there to develop him. We've been missing on too many great dline talents.
