At his size, unless he has dropped weight from 320, he is more built as a NT in a 3-4 than a DT in a 4-3

Appreciated the information, but James Smith needs an editor in his writing.

Hootie Jones is the "numbero uno" target for the Tigers at safety?

It's "numero uno."

Sorry. Off topic. It just makes me sad what has happened to the newspapers. I don't really blame Smith. There used to be editors who would catch that kind of stuff.

There is no back up plan for Hootie. He is a must get. No one on the board comes close or can bring to the table what he can in this class

What? You mean the recruits didn't give a shite about the empty 4th quarter? Surprise surprise.

blazer, with all the elite cornerbacks that LSU is stockpiling (White, Robinson, TBrown, Tolliver, et al), I believe that Ed Paris is destined for safety. I assume you do not consider him to be drastically worse prospect as Hootie.

In fact, it is Paris that I have earning the starting spot at one of our safety positions as a true freshman.

absolutely not! i am referring to uncommitted guys at safety. i have stated numerous times that hootie, voohries, and paris are must haves at safety. of the 3 hootie is the only uncommitted. i dont see any back up plan for him if we missed out on him (as far as ADDING another safety)
