Quit reacting negatively to 18 year old recruits. They are making life altering decisions while being pursued by famous and persuasive recruiters. They are still young kids in a grown man's body. They don't see the world like those with the wisdom of experience and age co. Quit reacting to every tweet they send or every comment they make. Stop the insults and negative statements.

At the end of the process LSU will have a top 5 group, maybe the best in the country. There may still be a player or two they don't sign because a bunch of idiots made sarcastic or smarmy comments about him . Imagine being his family or friends and reading those things.

Signing day is two months away, we have a monster recruiting staff, now let them do their job and judge it all after signing day. We may still lose some we want, but let it be for other reasons than the insults of our fans.

It's a rule on this board already. The admins do a good job to whack most the negativity/flames.
Most LSU fans who follow recruiting understand this. You'll get other fans posing though. Just report it.

I would say to relax, but who knows what's going through his mind. IMO he ends up at LSU.

you just mad e my point. Based on what do you deduce he is not coming here? Has he committed elsewhere? LSU implied they at looking at some options. Brennan reacted appropriately and will also assess where he fits in their plans. There are two months left for it to work out.

He didn't say anything negative about Brennan so I'm not sure what point of yours he made.
He just had an opinion. It's a prediction. There's nothing wrong with that.

just looking at the furor over Dylan Moses. Its clear he is not totally committed to Alabama, though he may end up there. LSU is till very much in the picture. Why not send all teh positive messages possible toward that and show we understand he is a young man making a major decision. If his heart is with LSU in the long run he comes here. SAban knows this an dis recruiting others at the position. He does not stockpile to thwart LSu or any school. He knows more than many on this board where Moses is really leaning.

I disagree that mgt. has done their best on this matter...recruits should not be criticized on this board...but this generation has so little self control that I doubt the problem can be solved...jmho

I can understand a fan's frustration over a committed kid choosing to attend another school. That being said, the kid is choosing what he feels is best for him and his future, not what's best for you or your future.

What really bothers me is how some posters talk towards kids who have suffered injuries, Narcisse for example. The kid tears his ACL at 16 and tears his other at 17. None of which he had any control over. Yet there are still people bad mouthing him, calling him a gimp or a cripple, made of glass, playing in a wheelchair, etc. I hope karma comes back in a big way on all of you miserable SOBs.

People feel like they can say anything hiding behind a screenname. If the kids are smart, they'll ignore the message board chatter and do what's best for them.

It's sad and quite pathetic when someone is that caught up in a high school kid's life that they feel the need to bad mouth him and name-call when the kid doesn't choose the college they wanted.

Its also infuriating that as soon as a highly recruited Louisiana player commits elsewhere the negativity starts. These commits are very fluid and the coaches are still pursing them very hard regardless of their verbal commitments. The smarmy comments on this board do nothing to help that cause.

Even if along time Tiger commitment suddenly change course ala Franks or Moses keep showing hi the support of the Tiger nation that he previously had and maybe in the long run his heart is still with LSU. If not then we all move on.

Remember for every Hootie Jones we lose there can be a Jamal Adams who wants to be a Tiger. For every Speedy Noil there is a D J Chark waiting to wear the purple and gold with pride and dignity. For every Gerald Willis there is a Devon Goudchaux.

I guess it's cool as long we wait until they're enrolled here and starting as freshman to totally start trashing their entire existence, huh?!?! We do that to kids like B Harris, who I'm not a fan of, but can't point out that an ego maniac like Dylan Moses, who we've handed life to on a silver platter, is trolling us?!?!

People can have opinions. As long as the arent bad mouthing these kids they are free to share them.

Agree.

Agree. If applied this rule would bar many comments on this board. Those comments don't help sway a recruit toward LSU so why make them?
