Now that the CFP is officially over, the best time of Recruiting season is here

I think we finish with the following:

DT Marvin Wilson

DT Phidarian Mathis

DE K'Lavon Chaisson

S Todd Harris

RB Travis Etienne

LB Willie Gay

WR Racey McMath

LB Jacob Phillips or LB Ellis Brooks

That puts us at 27. Really think the staff is going to finish strong and get us a great class. With us desperately needing LBs, I think Gay and Phillips both end up on campus. If not, Brooks could be one to watch. Can't wait for February 1!!!

I think you pretty spot on except for Harris I don't know where is at right now. I think Phillip is going to come. Just everything I have been reading. But Brooks would be a nice addition. We know this we gonna get a few good Lbers which we need.

I think that's pretty much how we end the class but instead of Harris, I think we add one more LB in his spot... Losing out on Harris isn't a problem, were loaded at DB

I would prefer Harris to Bama and D. Smith to LSU.

I know ones a safety and one is a WR

Can I has both?

Still hearing Smith to Bama in Tangi parish. I know the staff feels much better about him though. Guess we will see.

Hearing Smith to Bama as well. Damn shame. But, McMath is no slouch. Also, can someone fill me in on Amik Robertson? Take or not??

Honestly think we have to miss on about five or six in order to take him

I say we take Brooks and Phillips if they both want in and ask Kirklin or Moffitt to take a greyshirt.

DT Marvin Wilson
WR Devonta Smith
LB Willie Gay
OLB/LB Chris Allen
OLB K'Lavon Chaisson

Some fallbacks (or less likelies):

LB Ellis Brooks
WR Racey McMath
DE/TE Justin Harris
WR Marlon Williams
CB Amik Robertson
LB Nick Smith
LB Thomas Johnston

Sam Spiegelman said today Chaisson leaning Texas because of Petroleum Engineering major. Doesn't LSU offer a graduate program in this?

Yea K'Lavon is high on that Texas has the best Petroleum Enginerring school in the country. But he also has publicly stated that Aranda is the best DC in the country and that he'd love to play with Marvin Wilson.

I'd love for us to land him but it's looking less likely. Could return punts/kicks from Day 1

Chaisson's parents are rumored to be heavily pushing him towards UT. I hope he comes to LSU badly but you never know
