Heard on Fox Sports Radio this morning that he was a serious candidate.. so I went looking around the internet but found nothing from any major sports sites.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the San Diego Chargers are interested in both Mike Holmgren and UCLA’s Jim Mora Jr. as possible head coaching candidates.

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Tribune seems to think Mora may be in the mix to replace Turner.

Possible, but he's probably staying. His assistants all just got a raise

If the Chargers strike out and come to his front door, you honestly think he will tell an NFL team no thanks?

I thought he was pretty good at that level anyway...he was yet another victim of the biggest coach killer of our time (Mike Vick).

I think he might.
His best path to success seems to be in college. He has been fired twice in the NFL already.

Mora seems to be a good fit for College football. If he can get things rolling with Kiffen deep sixing USC and lower schollie numbers, he has a chance to cement his job.
