Pooka, as you decide between Kansas and LSU, be sure to do your due diligence. It might make your decision easier:

Records: LSU: 9-3 beat Auburn. Kansas: 1-11, beat SE Missouri State. Advantage: LSU

New years Day plans: LSU players in Disney world getting ready for NY day bowl. Kansas players at home baling hay. Advantage: LSU

Stadiums and game day experience: LSU: Tiger stadium, capacity 102,321, its Saturday nite in tiger stadium. Kansas: capacity 50,071, like a Texas high school stadium. Advantage: hahahahaha

Current NFL players: LSU has 51. Kansas has 7, no players drafted in last two years. Advantage: LSU

Distance from Hahnville: Baton Rouge: 68 miles. Lawrence: Kansas, 793 miles (who knew Kansas played in Lawrence anyway? Advantage: LSU

Food: LSU, crawfish, gumbos, redfish, crabs, jambalaya, kingcake. Kansas: BBQ-ed everything. Advantage: LSU

Women: LSU: hawt, crazy, love to party. Kansas: midwestern, no makeup, good on farm, practical. Advantage: LSU (be practical buying your car, with women go for hawt and crazy)

Playing time: LSU: early playing time, Guice and Williams leaving. Kansas: could probably start at Kansas, but then again, so could I. Advantage: LSU

Mascot: LSU: Mike the tiger. Kansas: Jayhawk, which is not really a bird but comes from jayhawkers, a civil war guerilla group. Advantage: LSU, but I feel kind of dumb for all these years thinking a Jayhawk was a real bird.

Conference: LSU, the SEC, where the big boys play.
Kansas, the Big 12, in which they obviously cannot count as there are only 10 teams with couple more looking to leave. Advantage: LSU

Pooka, do the math. This decision is not that hard.

I was talking to a Hahnville fan at the dome and he said that LSU wants him to play WR and he wants to be a RB. I have no idea if this guy knew what he was talking about though. Anyone else hear this?

Winter Extra-curriculars: LSU has Will Wade. KU has Bill Self. Advantage: LSU.

Yeah, he reminds me of Mccluster. Can use him multiple ways. That doesn’t mean u wouldn’t also have another running back that is a bruiser. LSU always uses more than 1 running back.

Disagree. I bet you less than 25% of average college fans outside of the Big 12 could tell you what city Kansas Univesity plays in, or Kansas State for that matter.

You would get a slightly higher percentage of college basketball fans that know. I follow college football closely and couldn’t tell you what part of Kansas Lawrence is even in.

If Canada is still here is there really much of a difference. Seems like Gage had about as many rushes and he did catches.

No difference to me but according to this guy it matters to Pooka. Like I said I have no idea if this guy knew what he was talking about.

He really doesn't know what he's talking about because Pooka is def an all purpose back and would be used like that at LSU. He'll run jet sweeps and catch the ball lining up in the slot or out of the backfield. If Canada is still there he'll be used in a variety of ways, but he won't be no exclusive WR like this guy is trying to tell you. lol

maybe hes just a shy guy who doesn’t like pressure.

At KU he doesn’t have to worry about being on national TV weekly, won’t have his parents there watching him play, doesn’t have to worry about bowl eligibility and an extended practice schedule...

Maybe he doesn’t want to have a bunch of buddies in the NFL, and just wants a couple of nice relaxing game in front of 20k scattered strangers in the freezing cold for a few years

I've heard much of the same from many of our fans. Some claim to know him pretty well and state that a lot of schools are recruiting him as a slot receiver. Again, it's all rumor IMO....but I wouldn't be surprised if this were true.
