Please explain the football recruiting process...

I heard that some high school coaches don't like either Miles or LSU. For example, the coach at John Curtis does not like LSU? So, he farms HS player's film to out of state schools. Or, U-high school recruits now, so other high schools are upset that this is too close to LSU. Is this why LSU does not get some of the top HS players from La?

It has some effect. But we just got Malichi Dupre from JC so that's invalid. It's ultimately, if you want out of the boot you leave and if you want to represent your state you stay. Every state has this same problem man.

Doubt it. A lot of people say weiner hates LSU because he sent Warrick, Travis, and Major elsewhere. This is dumb. High school coaches are always looking to network, so I highly doubt they brush off coaches.

Which is why they have sent three kids in a row to Miles, had a kid commit in baseball yesterday (who is related to the Curtis family), sent two basketball players in the past three years, etc. Gotta love this board.

this is nonsense spewed by those who dislike Miles.
Yes, some coaches may have previous relationships with Saban or other coaches, but most are professionals. And if they dislike Miles, I guarantee you they like Wilson.

I'm sure there are a few. But they have their own agenda. Maybe they are alumni of other schools or are 'close' to the coaching staff at, say, Clemson.
But, those coaches are rare.

The Curtis hating LSU is easily debunked, but I didn't know this.
There have been 3 players from Curtis that LSU offered since 2000 that chose to go elsewhere. And they all went to Los Angeles.

That pic is hilarious, but if the kid is white or has an LSU shirt no one says a word. Back in the day, LSU recruited a big ole white boy from my high school who went on to become an All-SEC defensive end. Suddenly, senior year the kid gets a new Z28 and - don't quote me on this - I think the license plate was his number at LSU or something LSU related. Could his parents afford it? I'd say yes. Was he a great guy who accomplished a lot and deserved it? Sure. Did other kids get cars for graduation from their parents? Of course. But you can't help laughing.
