I haven't been into recruiting football very long, but I have to say I get almost as excited on nsd as I do for opening day I love watching high school highlights. I don't want to sound like a homer for saying this but the best I have seen was fournette kid was/is a beast. I was wondering who you guys with more experience would say had the best highlight. Doesn't have to be lsu players either. Thanks

Update: again thanks for insight and I have watched some of all the players names posted I keep coming back to Noel Devine this kid was a video game created player × 10 unbelievable. I know most have already seen but take 10min and watch this just to remind yourself how good he really was LINK

Reuben Foster’s highschool reel is absolutely ridiculous.

Hate to be the guy who goes with one of the most recent guys, but I've been watching film since the early 2000s when tape was accessible to watch, and LEONARD FOURNETTE had some of the best film ive ever seen. He was bigger, faster, stronger, etcetc than all the other kids on the field every single play.

Others:
Anthony Johnson
Reggie Bush
Russell Shepherd

Highlight reel, Russell Shepard.

Chris Tolliver of rayville was the fastest high school player that I’ve ever seen. He was lightning fast, smooth, and electric, with tremendous acceleration. No one was ever catching him.

Tyrann Mathieu was the greatest high school player I’ve witnessed. He almost beat West Monroe by himself. Three TDS, kick return, int. Typica Honey Badger stuff. He was special. I’ve probably never seen another player like him.

Also Sam McGuffie. Who remembers him? Had a crazy highlight tape and was a huge recruit but never panned out.

Fournette's is sick.
AJ Green's is silly too.
JC Copeland's is like WWE.
But it's gotta be Reggie Bush.

Noel Devine was the best film I’ve ever seen, then Travis Rudolph from FSU’s film was pretty dirty, and then what the guy above me said, Early Doucet was a man amping boys.

Ryan Perilloux had some pretty good film. Jeremy Hill had some unbelievable reels.
