Not the same, everyone who follows recruiting knew magee. He was also a baseball star at franklinton. I have never heard of this kid. Not saying he doesnt have the talent, but he wasnt pursued by teams we regularly recruit against like magee was.

But yeah SU is a clusterfrick, i listen to jaguar journal sometimes and it is just a mess. Especially the academics. This isnt just football, their whole athletic department was ran into the ground by the previous regime.

What? They won the SWAC in football, their men's and women's bball teams are leading the conference, and Cador always has them at the top of their conference in baseball.

Agree with the previous posters regarding Southern. And the reason he was not on the radar is because of the KNEE injury going into his junior year. Also, he is a pretty good baseball player. And he will be trying out for the baseball team also.

He is a 1B/OF in baseball. Can hit with power.

Look at the highlights under the vid in that link, he has highlights at the RB position also.

He looked very slow in those highlights. Plus, the hudl defensive highlights were the worse I've ever seen. No knock on the kid; whoever selected the highlight plays could have chosen some in which he made a tackle.

Why is he a walk on? If LSU did not sign up to the number of scholarships this year that they could and have room for him, why not offer him a scholarship? Did we sign the max number we could for 2014? Just asking. For some reason I thought we did not.
