This is an old topic and really is more about back to when Brandon Harris was competing with Jennings, it all started when Harris was first started and then pulled from the Auburn game, and even Terry Bradshaw eventually made comments after that season, Feaster wanted Harris to transfer back then, regardless of what happened back then, nothing can be done to resolve now other than for O and Feaster to start anew and move forward from here with other Parkway recruits for what is best for them. Feaster cares about his players and O wants a chance to show he is going to give them a fair shot at the state school. Maybe Feaster was right back when he thought Brandon should have transferred?

We should send the Parkway coaches 1st quarter tape of the Jacksonville St game. That'll shut them up.

The way Brandon has been treated at LSU is going to have a huge affect on the recruitment of Parkway players and players around here.”

that sounds like "give him preferential treatment or we are going to steer other players away from you". coaches should know better than that. I hope i'm misinterpreting that. BH was received MORE than fair treatment as he was given plenty of time to prove he was the man and deserved to start. hell, that's all any player deserves. the program is worth more than one guy. preferential treatment has hurt lots of programs. Arkansas and a&m are two recent examples.

recruiting can stink at times. the only thing I know for O to do is to meet with Feaster and hash things out and continue to keep up with him. if he likes coach O he may come around; if not, well, sometimes you don't win.

This also could be said about LSU coaching up it's QB group, most likely the weakest position group on the team. The old OC/QB (Cam) didn't get that group prepared enough we have not seen any QB growth under his tenure. Please don't mention Zac he had a huge live arm whwn he came and two all star receivers to complement him, and that also was underachieving QB group. Alot of blame for QB development should fall on Cam and Miles. Terry Bradshaw even commented on this matter.

So you play Harris even if he struggles? You lose games to make a HS coach happy? Feaster needs to understand which school he coaches.

LSU did play Harris even when he struggled. It contributed to Les Miles losing his job. Feaster needs to realize that and get over himself.

Watched 5-Star Parkway WR Terrace Marshall's highlights. Reminds me of Randy Moss. Kid is the real deal and 247 has some CBs for the good guys.
But I can see where their offensive system in no way prepares a QB for the next level. Every pass I saw, the QB drops and chucks, no progressions and frankly no time for progressions. QB is getting hit or about to at every release. Watching that helped understand that BH is a product of the Parkway system. Fun to watch and wins at the HS level....

I liked Harris and pulled for him to ball out here.
He's a great young man.
Expectations weren't met.
The field will be wide open this year for every QB.
Want the best QB on the field.

I'm hoping Feaster isn't basing his opinion on all coaches and staff at LSU now and in the future... it's not Orgerons fault or any coach there now that Harris wasn't coached up becuz of 2 embecil coaches from the past.... QB wasn't their specialty....

This.

Feaster is an Arkansas fan. He has never liked LSU. But ... if there is a ally, it would be the OC. He's an LSU grad.

This is where this stuff gets twisted....HS coach interjects his opinions on what LSU should do. Coach your boy up enough at the HS level and he is less likely to shite the bed at LSU. Etling-should have been the starter for the Wisky game, cost us that game Brandon did. So should LSU penalize Parkway and not recruit their players because the coach at Parkway failed to prepare Brandon correctly? This is all BS...

He was developed enough at parkway to offers from every major program in the country. His development at LSU is what was lacking.

If you read the Terrance marshal thread it clearly states... They drop back and throw with not going through progressions.....that is exactly what Brandon's problem has been. The coach is the issue, not the kids...

didn't they forfeit a whole season over illegally recruiting some other dude?

then they have Wudtee at OK St.

I like how he thinks he'll "always" have players LSU wants... he's probably that coach that throws away recruiting letters lol

Feaster is a big LSU fan I know that personally. For whatever reason Brandons confidence was shot. He was making throws in high school that he was not hitting in college. Brandon likes Coach O alot. He's told me this personally. As for Terrace I don't see him ending up at LSU but who knows. He's at hard worker and special player and great guy. Who's to say Brandon doesn't get an opportinity to start this year.

Where's Terrance going to end up, and what the problem between him and LSU?

Harris started and entire year in 15 and gave the job away in 2016. I would have loved for Harris to take the next step but he just never did. He has a cannon but can't complete anything but a go route. He's got zero touch. That kind of QB can be (and was) a drive killer. All we need was someone who could convert a 3rd and 6 along with the run game we had to have a chance.

Harris is a result of a lot of La. coaches. They have a tendency to try to place the best athlete at the QB position so they can have the ball every play. Harris is a tremendous athelete but has trouble with reads and can not developed his passing accuracy. His talents would be better served at another skill position. This should have been noticed by his high school coach.
