Moses, Buggs, and Allen all in state kids. You add those 3 defensive pieces and we are set!! Not only does it suck to lose your best players at positions of need, BUT we are also losing them to Bama!!! I hope Buggs picks us, but if not it just sucks. Never gonna get over the hump when your best instate players go to Bama!! It's freaking stupid!! Where is the state pride?!!

one day these kids are going to wake up and smell the roses that college football isn't just about winning championships, getting coached up, and attending an outstanding university. There's more to it than that.

If Bugg leaves it is to Auburn, not Bama

Like enjoying the best three-four years of your life and becoming a proud alumni. Like being the local kid who helped his school win.

Face it, despite the self-loathing fans, the majority of these kids'classmates and support system are LSU fans. While they obviously will support their decision, whatever it is, it becomes extra special if they stay home. Both Leonard Fournette and Cam Robinson will be first round picks. Who do you think is more popular in their home community. Sure, people are proud of Cam, but Cam is not and will not ever be revered the way Buga will be.

It's called championships.

Winning is he biggest recruiting tool in the world. Winning Championships is an indefensible recruiting tool.

Everybody loves a winner. This is, and always will be. They may have state pride, but until we beat the bully, they hold the wild card.

This is why I cherish every in state commit that we get. It shows that they are game to slay the dragon while others wanna ride the dragon.

You can't blame those that leave.

I was a decent athlete back in the day. I actually had Charles Johnson in my cafeteria recruiting me to come to Miami and play CB. This just so happened to be the same class that pushed them into championship status. But had it have been Florida State. I would have committed in the cafeteria. Why, because I watched them on TV kicking butt every Sunday. I had never been to Tallahassee a day in my life, and I would have committed on the spot. And this was a time when LSU was a joke, so everybody came in and grabbed our talent. Our recent success is the main key to us keeping the flow of in state talent that we do.

Saban is a product of LSU's success. If these young men truly look up to him, they should follow in his footsteps.

Sure we can. Rather than beat them, they join them.

Think about it. We were tied with them in the 4th quarter. You don't think it's feasible that if the nation's best LT (Cam Robinson) and one of the top pass rushers (Tim Williams) had chosen their home state over the Gumps that it might have changed the outcome of that game?

But no, they made their undefined "business decision" which frankly is insulting because it implies that wearing the crimson jersey over the white one has an impact on their future value as an NFL player which it doesn't.

I have a feeling that LF will be dead to some outside of NOLA unless he blows it up in the NFL.
