Did you guys just see that Charles Turner hugging Trey Sanders on TV at the Hoover game saying “we got something special for ya’ll coming soon”
Charles grinned and pointed at the camera reiterated saying: “coming soon”

Is he a silent?

Oh baby Jesus in your golden fleeced diapers...is this so?

Why do you think that means he is coming to LSU

Charles Turner is an LSU commit.

Huge announcement has been being discussed and is supposed to happen Saturday.

Trey Sanders joining Charles Turner at LSU would fit all the smoke.

Why would Charles who is already an LSU commit play a trick. Something big is up.

I was thinking it might be Evan Neal. Sanders doesn't make much sense and I wouldn't expect him to stick.

I can't imagine Charles being involved in dirty tricks unless he's planning on flipping. No this is big and it's good news.

Sanders commits to LSU, Emery commits elsewhere, Sanders flips to Bama

I didn't mean it would necessarily be a dirty trick if Sanders didn't stick. But 3 is too many running backs in this class and I can't see us turning away Davis or Emery. So maybe Sanders committing would be us messing with Alabama.

Maybe I'm reaching here, but I really don't see the play here, unless the coaches aren't sold on Emery ending up here. But I don't think that's the case because Orgeron was just talking about him as the top running back in the country

DeafVallyBatnR Being optimistic and thinking positive is never a bad thing. But, it has a tendency to clog minds to the point of irrationality. People assume because Turner is an LSU commit that this means Sanders ins committing to the Tigers as well. These are 17 and 18 year old kids that have a national spotlight shinning on their every move. That's a whole lot of attention. Meaning, you can never assume what their intent will be. And until each player actually signs on the dotted line, nothing is guaranteed. Just because a kid commits to a particular school doesn't guarantee they will sign an LOI. People tend to get excited about things of this nature and they forget what we are dealing with here. There's no telling what these two meant. Would love Sanders to be a LSU Tiger, but this announcement doesn't mean he will commit to or sign with LSU.

Man Charles Turner is a straight dog out there. If he weighed 50 lbs more he’d be 5* no doubt. Dude is criminally underrated. I know this is a thread about Sanders but watching Turner gets me pumped up.

We need about 2 maybe 3 good running backs in this class just in case Chris curry or Tae Provens don't work out. Its not like LSU to not have quality depth at rb.

Same. Give me Davis and any one of Cain, Emery and Sanders. I'm really not excited to take more than two running backs in this class.

Davis is such a freaking stud, I wouldn't be overly concerned if he was our only running back. Of course, I'd rather 2, but I really think 3 is too many. Taking 3 means we're neglecting another position of need, will likely lose someone to transfer anyway and will hurt our chances with Evans and Clayton next year.

Taken in a vacuum, I would prefer Emery to Sanders. Not by a lot, but if forced to choose one - I would go with Emery.

But which of the following two choices would you prefer:
1) Emery to LSU /// Sanders to Bama
2) Sanders to LSU /// Emery somewhere other than Bama

Option #2 would still leave LSU with a premier RB recruit; and would leave Bama without one.
