Shea is enrolled at Ole Miss. Ship has sailed.

Deontay Anderson on the other hand....

NCAA would let Shea out of his agreement if he wanted. That was a new rule implemented three years ago I believe. The leak to Yahoo came before NSD so the NCAA wouldn't have as big of a headache on its hands. If a prospect is made aware of the allegations and signs his LOI, he is bound by that agreement. In Shea's case, he was not made aware of the situation prior to signing, therefore the NCAA would likely grant him a waiver to transfer and play immediately.

With that said, Shea would likely be headed to Alabama if that were the case.

In that case, I'm fine with Ole Miss

Damn can we have one of their QBs then? They've recruited like 10 thousand recently. Wouldn't mind seeing what Cornwell or the guy they have coming in this year can do.

I really wish Les would step away from the Good Old Boys club and hire Jaluke. I hear great things about him from HS coaches.

Ole Miss getting in trouble for women's basketball is akin to Al Capone getting in trouble for tax evasion.

Academic fraud, grade fixing, impermissible benefits all while freeze was on staff. They are going to get lack of institutional control. David Saunders spilled

Bingo. Academic fraud, especially involving ACT testing, is much easier to prove than pay-for-play money laundered through a church donation a la' Cam Newton.

2013'S recruiting class raised all the red flags to the NCAA. There's no way you go from a consistent top 35 recruiting class to top 5 overnight unless your team starts winning championships, which they haven't done.

Tunsil & Nkemdiche are at the center of the investigation.

We'll have to wait and see the penalty, however it seems like more than a slap on the wrist.

OM was just stupid in how they did it. If they had slowly got better and better over several years, no one would blink an eye at them getting the kind of classes they have been getting. But you can't go from the status they were to what they are now overnight without some major concerns being raised.

They will get 2 years probation and 5 less evaluation days. It will be a tiny slap on the wrist
