Jerry Tillery - Evangel
Garret Thomas - Many
Oshea Dugas - Northside
Kameron Eloph- Parkway
Grant Burgullos-Mandeville
Adrian Magee- Franklinton
Cody Ford- Pineville

How would y'all rank these prospects?

Who gets offers (Tillery and Magee already have offers)? And who commits to LSU?

Looks like most of them project as guards

Also instate:

Devin Jackson - Karr
Tristan St. Cyr - Destrehan
Collin Williams - St Aug
Richie George - Riverside Academy, DT who could play OL
Dontrell Smalls - West St John, was he able to stay a 2015 kid? or too old and had to be classified as 2014?
Caden Cunningham - Acadiana
Michael Dunman - Byrd, TE who some think could grow into OL (instate version of Hanner Shippley?)

This is the challenge I see--most project as guards in college. LSU needs outstanding tackles as well.

Trying to get Tillery to switch from Notre Dame will be a challenge, so that is why Holmes probably needs to look out of state to add tackles. Looks like the current commit from Keller, TX, and most of the OL prospects from LA will meet the guard needs.

Is it possible Shipley could project as a tackle at the next level?

I think that is a strong possibility.

Another name to keep an eye on is Pat Allen (OT, Maryland), he grew up an LSU fan apparently.

I will add him to the list.

Yes--Pat Allen is an OT that will be highly recruited & it would be great if Holmes could get him to visit LSU. Do you think Allen wants to play at an SEC school? Correction--meant to say Grimes instead of Holmes.

Hey, Basil Bogomil--thanks for the great updates on OL recruiting. I hope this thread continues to be updated very often, even up to a day or two before NSD next February.

I hope I speak for other posters on the RB that it is greatly appreciated, since to many of us one of the top priorities for the 2015 signing class is to sign at least five, and hopefully, six OL, perhaps including Shipley.

One guy from LA in all the commits/offers. That's pretty surprising. Thin group this year in LA.

It is still early, LSU offers out of state kids first.

After the camps, you will see a few more in state offers on the OL, I am sure.

for this to happen, we would have to miss out on almost all oos guys. is this your prediction?

No.

I think we will take big OL numbers this year, and believe that in-state guys like Thomas, Ford, and Tillery will be offered down the road.

I think LSU will end up with 2-3 in-state linemen and 3-4 out of state linemen.

What I was pointing out is that at this point in the process there will always be a higher number of out-of-state offers than in-state, regardless of position. So, it is not necessarily indicative of a weakness in this year's in-state OL class, but more a function of strategy.

I would hope he has been offered. But do any of you think he will decommit from Notre Dame and the Tigers will have a shot at eventually signing him?

You are right. Last time I checked, it wasn't confirmed. I will update.

Jake Fruhmorgen also has an offer. Good looking tackle, most likely going to bama or clemson

Thanks for compiling all this info, Basil. Like mentioned above, we appreciate it
