I love the name. It makes me think of the rant bitching about Saban's Jack LB position.

Memphis! You dick! Since I found out Hooper was going to be a TE, Stevenson was my guy. I'm hurt.

In the face of the irritation coming with Austin Hooper being named as a TE by his coach, I'm going to take Matt Dimon, DE Oklahoma.

I like him and he's got a decent chance to see playing time after a redshirt season. I want to finish my DE/OLB class here and take two LBs from this point on to finish my front seven.

I feel like that's dishonest. The coach blatantly said he'd be a TE - it's one thing if I didn't know that, but it's another that I saw the quote and know he won't play much at DE if at all. I really want to have a well-rounded team, too - my ideal draft features players that start at EVERY position! I think it's fun.

Choosing a player to play a position that he'll never line up at? That's not with the spirit of the draft, IMO. I understand different opinions, but that's me.

...it doesn't hurt that Hooper should get great PT, though

We are all pretty hardcore college fans we know guys switch positions regularly despite the fact that he was recruited for a certain position we also know what is reasonable("no trindon holliday at DE shite"). But whatever its no big deal.

Why? He is the best DE to ever play at LSU

True. On the same page, however, look at the quote you sent me from Shaw - the guy said he'd be a tight end. In theory, I could recruit him at defensive end, but the fact is that he's going to be a tight end. I'd be lining up with 12 on offense and ten on defense. That's an illegal formation!
