I've been here all along. Just trying to keep quiet. Reading and laughing at some of the nonsense that gets posted!

Garrett needs to take the leadership role for putting his class together. He is a very intelligent leader type individual from what I see. Its his class to lead.

This class needs someone to assist from the players perspective and not letting this wonderful opportunity of having one of the greatest classes of all times get away. It needs a Louisiana leader to help tske advantage of a special year in the Boot. Louisiana is set up for LSU this year. We can't let others come to our state and cherry pick our guys.

This class can help LSU reclaim its spot as the leading program in the SEC which it had been the last 10-12 years. But only if they come together.

That's quite a burden to place on a high school kid.

I think some of us forget these kids are 17 years old. Think about what you were doing at that age. But if he did take that leadership role, boy would that be great!!

Coaches and staff are responsible for recruiting prospective players. That's a part of what they get paid for. Garrett's decision was based on what we though was in HIS best interest. All other recruits have to do the same. Not now, nor will be it ever be Garrett's responsible to sway another recruits decision. LSU is not a fit for every player, and every player is not a fit for LSU. It may not be what you want to hear, but it's the truth! So, as Garrett has stated many times before, he will leave the other recruits to make up there own minds as to where they attend school. If any swaying needs to be done, you can rest assured that Coach Miles and company are on top of it!

Much respect, my man... Love it, just know that as fans we want every advantage we can get. Its competitive out there, and people's interest are way different, as I'm sure you've seen going through the recruiting process...Sounds like ya'll have everything covered, and are very grounded, just love hearing that..

You my friend are setting yourself up for MAJOR disappointment. We are going to lose top guys out of the state this year. So is Texas, California, Illinois an even Alabama who have 2 huge schools and not a ton of top tear athletes. Lower your expectations son and stay off the recruiting board for a while. You might lose your mind before it is over with, we have a long way to go.

Some do it every year and for most all recruiting classes. Someone takes a leadership role in helping recruit their class. Russell Shepard did it. This year the DB from Texas is trying to do it.

and brumfield chooses not to do it like 20 or so of the other kids in any given recruiting class.
