LSU needs to have a look at OCS Eagles football team. They can play with anyone. Very talented team with some outstanding seniors.
Hamby 6’2” 187lbs safety / corner
Lovelady 6’2’ 215 lbs mlb
Devall 6’3” 262 olb / de
Bentley 6’6” 285 ot / dt
White 6’ 185 rb

its the system. they run a complicated passing system that confuses high school kids. They rarely have D1 football athletes.

Care to be more specific? LCA, for example, has a very very good team. Much better than OCS. And yet they only have a handful of players who could realistically get an offer from LSU.

Noah Lovelady and Ben Devall are legit, too. The program can make a huge statement with a win over undefeated Harding Academy and Wyatt Simmons

OCS blew out Ouachita, which beat Rummel and lost by 4 to Neville

Impressive for a small school that rarely has D1 athletes

1986 OCS says hello.

If you are not from the area let me explain 7 guys and it could have been 11. It's been a long time. But 7 or 11 went D1 that year.

That’s funny. They run the ball way more than they pass it.

They have some dawgs. Their defense is ridiculous this year.

I’m not sure they are loaded with power 5 players but, group of 5 all day.

Hamby could play safety just about anywhere in the country.

Noah Lovelady is a sideline to sideline LB that if he were 6’4 like Tackett Curtis, he would have been recruited like him.

Don’t let the whiteness confuse you. They can play. No one in their division will come close to beating them this year.

Malik Nabers was committed to Mississippi State before we offered him last minute. I think that turned out alright.

It was a jamboree and they had starters out.

They are 6-0 with 2 wins over last year state champs (Dallas Christian, and Oak Grove) and they play another runner up this week.

DC has been to 4 straight championships
Oak Grove is OG
Harding Academy is a 4A that has been to 4 straight.

OCS has been to 4 straight championships and has beaten Calvary 2 of the last 3.

You can say what you want but, they can play.

Yeah you do. There are a few too many South La elitists on TD that turn their nose up at anything and anyone, including athletes, north of Alexandria. Funny how other SEC programs, hell not just SEC either (see Nebraska), don’t mind going into NELA and raiding good players from smaller programs and developing them. It’s a problem BK has addressed multiple times.
