Coach D said he's got evidence of it so we should just believe him since he won't produce it.

Is there any precedent for the application of the rule?

There is where I am not certain. Can only rely on what I've heard but I tend not to say that stuff here. My guess is SEC teams know the rule so they don't really push the issue. By signing day in football, your coaching changes are typically well known so it isn't an issue. Basketball is only really relevant (and very public) sport due to early signing period.

I think you're right. my understanding is that it's now considered a transfer if the student never steps foot on campus.

It's tough for me to believe that Johnny is recruiting this kid without knowing he's going to be able to play next year

He will have to sit out if he came here unless he can get a waiver, which is why we trail the other three on his list

This is complete garbage. Once again, we are in a position of depending on the SEC to do the right thing and grant a waiver to let this kid play where he wants in year one. Once again, we are about to get screwed by the SEC. I am getting sick of this BS.

I think the SEC would let him play year one because of the special situation of UF's coach bailing after he signed a NLI.

Should read I hope ... still, don't expect SEC to budge on rules here.

If it was to either UK or UF, they probably would since those 2 have been the bell cows for SEC basketball, maybe for Alabama, too, since it's Alabama.

Dickerson has stated before that he has no interest in a redshirt, and yet he's still planning on visiting LSU. Therefore I'd hope that they have some sort of plan or confidence in the path forward.

Look, I would love to see him on the roster. Just, don't look for it to happen. Rules are rules.

I guess we still riding

hell yes. Is he eligible this season or does he have to sit out since he originally signed with UF? Also what about Sampson? Sorry I have not been paying attention since the season ended.

He's not the only one saying this information. Might want to look around a bit.

No, I understand the rule but the fact that he's visiting LSU tells me that he was granted a full release/waiver more than likely but this chochbag refuses to accept that its even a possibility
