A lot of schools are being thrown around, but interestingly enough, none are LSU. Hoping they just were waiting for official word because it was in conference but IDK...

A ton of schools are on him now.
The big difference between now and then is teams know everyone who is coming. There aren't any second choices.
So more teams will come calling. Georgetown doesn't really need a PF anymore (looking for PG). Some new teams have come into the mix that may have missed out on their first choices.

They were done before because he was still signed with Florida and there was no one still available that would crack the rotation. Circumstances have changed.

Never thought I would worry about Cal, but they are racking up some recruits. I hate to accuse people of illegally recruiting players, but Brown to Cal was one of the most out of the blue things I've ever seen

You guys get your hopes up to fast. According to yall anyone who is considering Lsu in basketball is a lock. There is no news about him being linked to Lsu other than he was considering us 6 months ago, let someone with actual inside info find something between us and Noah before you guys start writing his name down on the roster.

For the most part, there has been a pretty logical connection between LSU and all of their big time recruits over the last few years.
Martin and Sampson are from BR
Mickey's brother was on LSU's football team at the time he signed
Simmons is the Godson of an assistant coach that was here for 3 years before Simmons signed
The only real outlier is Blakeney, and it seems pretty clear that Simmons brought him in.
There isn't anything suspicious like California this year. An average program with an average coach who was essentially run out of his last job all of a sudden getting top players from clear across the country.

Exactly
And listen, I'm in the boat that I think almost all players get paid to some degree by someone. I just think Guys like Malik Newman to MSU and Rabb and Brown to Cal are just getting way way more
