Does anyone think we have a chance with him? Saw he just trimmed his list to 5 and they have us as #1, and he's commits at the Army All American game this weekend... TIA

Honestly don't know but since I'm Tiger biased I think we have a chance with any recruit we get on campus.

Yeah, I think they would take him in a heart beat. Plus, with Lewis taking visits, and Fulton/Mullen not done deals, I think you cover yourself here, if we have learned anything from recruiting QB's...

he can't be committing at the game this weekend. he has 3 officials set up for the rest of the month. he has never visited LSU so he certainly wont commit to us this weekend. Tennessee legacy.

Getting Nigel would be huge for us. His HS teammate and pretty sure his cousin is DeAngelo Gibbs is the #2 corner for 2017. I watched both play this summer in 7v7 leagues and Nigel is 100% a take in this class.

Nigel? I wouldn't say it's a 100%. But if we were to land Nigel, I think it would be an 85% chance we land Gibbs next year. Nigel moved to Peachtree Ridge HS for his senior year to play with Gibbs

I think he will be a Vol.. Would love to have him in P&G. but he could be going anywhere at this point

recruiting works both ways... both parties (LSU & the player) must show interest for the final deal to work. Sometimes there is a varying degree of interest on LSU's part for multiple reasons.
"100% take" here means that LSU would/should be 100% certain that they would uphold his offer if he was sincerely interested.
Less than 100% is when you sometimes hear about "slow playing" a recruit. this again happens for multiple reasons.

Thanks alum. This is the first class I really followed since 2014 (obvious in from NO). I understand now. So, would there be any circumstances of less than 100% interest by LSU for varying reasons other than talent. Grades, behavior; etc?

I have been wanting this guy the whole time.. I hope we pull him.. Like another poster said 2017 teammate is #1 corner.. Wish we could sign 35
