I also think people forget that all these kids talk to each other on a regular bases and know exactly what the coaches are telling each recruit during their process.

GATRGRT...I'm surprised people haven't picked up on this before, but you're a thorn in LSU's side. I know who you are as do many others and its a fact that you have very few GOOD thingS to say about the instate school when talking to these kids. Then you run to this board dropping "insiders knowledge" about how these kids are going elsewhere and these people eat it up like candy. You may be a valuable member to this board but you are a detriment to LSU's program.

I don't know what the hell you want

2 true freshmen RBs either lead the team in rushing TDs (HIlliard) or was 1 behind (Blue) in 2011 on the way to a national championship appearance.

They also got significant carries.

I'm still waiting on this 4 RB situation in the past where they all got theirs!

This is the type of attitude that they try to stay away from. If you come into LSU thinking "I'm the man, I'm gunna get mine, me me me" you're not gunna make it. You're telling me this kid never thought he would be in rotation with LF? Nobody walks into LSU and says I am the RB and will be the only RB at this school. We have the best stable not only because the guys buy into the team but they are fresh each quarter. It's the guys like Magee that rotate with the Hills of the world and wait for their moment patiently, those are the guys LSU wants. Take this selfish bullshite attitude somewhere else. Have fun with that Florida running game..

Excellent troll job btw.

It's an unquantifiable number.

He must not have taken very much advantage of the classroom while at Florida. There are plenty of examples of 4 (or more) running backs succeeding at a high level over a 3 or 4 year timeframe. At best his argument is intellectually dishonest because he's trying to say they should all get all the carries every year. At worst, he's just fricking dumb.

LSU understands that they are so heavily invested in Fournette that he's there man for 3 years regardless! Any other running back that gets caught up in those 3 years are just collateral damage.... That's his or any other backs reality for 3 years!

Here's my problem with that line of thinking, Fournette hasn't done sh*t yet in college for me to just hand him the starting role. It's all about COMPETITION. That's why I respect Darrell Williams so much. He wasn't afraid to commit to LSU and come in to compete for the RB position.

I would rather have someone who isn't scared to come in and compete for the starting job. Those are the type of players I want at LSU! I hope Brossette and Guice can be those guys!

If anyone thinks that Fournette's not getting 25 carries a game then they are crazy.

When is the last time an LSU RB came close to 25 carries a game? Ridley only averaged 19 and he had 249 carries.

one back will always get the majority of carries on any team, and who is to say Nick would beat out the three other recruits in his same class at Texas?

Barring injury, Fournette will be gone in three years (possibly even with injury), giving Brossette two years to get 1A or 1B snaps.

Plain and simple, who wouldn't want to be a RB at LSU? At a period in history where having a dominant ground attack is rare, you are put on the biggest stage.

If you don't come to LSU as a RB and you are of caliber, it is because you are scared of the competition. And if that's the case we don't need you and it proves who we have on the roster must be pretty damn good.

LSU is a great opportunity for any RB....I agree! But 4 deep there's no way. Sorry guys. If you are being real and not a fan there's no way you see that happening all 4 get their due.

So how's he gonna get his due at Texas if they already have 3 backs this class?

Nick's gonna get his 25 carries a game at Texas where they are signing as many RB's as LSU is, maybe more.

It's very similar situations for sure. Not to mention playing for your home state and playing for the Lab school.

Who's we? You and the people giving Brossette bad info? Congrats on luring a kid away from a good opportunity just because you have a vendetta against the school.

What a man
