“Me and Lamar wanted to commit together,” Dural told Sporting News. “When we were growing up, we always wanted to go to the same school together. ... Lamar will bring a lot to the game. He works hard, constantly. Growing up with Lamar, he was always the most competitive dude to ever play with. You could just tell there was something different about him. He’s gotten a lot bigger and he has a lot to offer.”

Louis described what his first night game at LSU would be like.

“That was one reason why I chose LSU,” Louis told Sporting News. “The atmosphere is second to none. Now actually playing it ... lot’s of things will be going through my head and it will be a night to remember.”

quote:

I like everything about LSU, and going to the games last year, I thought it was great how much the fans support the players,” Dural said. “I can just imagine myself playing in front of all those people on Saturday nights. It’s something that I thought would never happen to me ... The coaches say I’m going to have a chance to play as a freshman. They said they’re looking for a tall receiver and I kind of fit that. So the way it looks, I’ll probably play kind of early.”

I started a new post instead of putting the info in both the commitment posts.

Everytime I've talked to Dural he's been very polite and respectful. Louis is a good kid that comes from a good family also.

Their current coaches definately think so:

quote:

"Travin is a good kid character wise. I mean excellent," Broussard said. "He works hard, has good speed, and great hands. Travin runs great routes. Sure he has work to do but they got a good one. I think he picked LSU because it's close to home and he loves LSU. He always has."

they see the talent too:

quote:

"They are getting an athlete who is explosive," Charpentier said. "He's very strong and runs a 4.5 40. They are projecting him possibly on defense. To me I think he's more of a defensive player, maybe a WILL linebacker. He hasn't played a down of football for me yet but I can't wait to see what he can do."

and they kno why they said yes to Les

quote:

"I think the main reason he committed to LSU is that it's 45 minutes away," Charpentier said. "He grew up in Louisiana and it's his dream to play at LSU. And they are a very good football program.
