The ONLY explanation that they could give for a guy jumping 500+ spots (an OL no less I believe) is that they simply scouted the wrong guy in the beginning...maybe a teammate, etc. There is 0% chance...0.00000% chance for someone to jump that much. It was miraculous (but I think deserved) that T White was jumping like 125 spots or whatever...that is a far, far, far cry vs 565 spots.
Its funny who slavishly devoted people are to initial rankings. Maybe they just missed on a kid with the first rankings? Maybe he didn't play varsity last year and has improved massively over the past year? Some kids are great from the get go, others develope later its not that big of a deal.

24/7 is the best, but way to many question marks on this one.

Except they've admitted to a bias to Bama. Saying they give the bump because Saban is so good he'll make the recruit that much better to justify their bump.

If they bump recruits up for committing to saban, they should bump them down for committing to shitty coaches too I guess. Stupid premise.
Those aren't rankings then, those are predictions on who will be developed the best though out their college career.

These types of things are all about getting kids to go to their events and paying the money. Perhaps the kid has been under the radar. These sites are for fans, we need to trust coach's evaluations.

Thank you finally got someone to agree with me.

Nope, they miss all the time...missed on T White for example initially. But isn't it strange that the ONLY player who jumped more than 220 spots (I think Bonney from Texas jumped that much) just happened to commit to Alabama? I'm not a conspiracy guy...having said that, this is too coincidental. Who's next? The guy Smith from Airline that La Tech didn't even offer, and they offer everybody from Shreveport/Bossier! Just watch...he will skyrocket in the ratings eventually just because Alabama offered him.
