Pretty much said LSU is formulating a backup plan so Myles is doing the same thing.

Cliffs:

still committed.

Says brennan has been the most committed guy in thiis class.

Desire to be a Tiger still just as strong.

Uncertainty through transition is the issue. Talked about the possibility of 3-4 different OCs and seeing who they pick.

Basically formulating a backup plan by looking around.

reaffirms Myles' commitment to LSU.

Only convo between Myles and LSU in last 24 hours has been with Orgeron.

Respects the offer and insinuates Tua offer is a backup plan for LSU.

Says coach at his HS changed to more under center plays and LSU like plays when Brennan committed to LSU.

Tbob asked about O wanting a DT-QB: dad says Miles can move well, get a first down, but number one priority is to throw the ball. Keeps eyes downfield and doesn't run as soon as he sees pressure. Not going to fit in a system where QB is asked to be a RB. Doesn't think LSU wants to do that.

Convo with O was strictly O telling family,"We want your son. We want him here. Give him every opportunity. Best QB gets to play."

We're LSU through and through.

If Orgeron lets this kid get away it will be the first nail in his coffin. This kid has been LSU through and through, even with all of the changes, etc. I would lose a lot of respect for Orgeron if he does not fix this!!! Kiffin is a cancer, and he is not the answer to our offensive problems. I hope this is not the direction Orgeron plans on taking, it is a mistake!!!

IDGAF what it takes to pull Brennan. You pull him. He's a stud. Continue running "pro" offense for a year. and see what happens when you have a good pro style QB at the helm.
You don't need a DT to beat bama. You just need a good QB (with a good defense) and Myles is that.

Makes good sense to me

The young man committed under Les Miles

Coach Orgeron has a responsibility to take the program wherever it needs to go

In this instance, both are correct

AND I AM GRATEFUL THAT O DIDN'T RESPOND LIKE A TWO YEAR OLD STATING THE YOUNG MAN HAS NO CHEST....Les Miles was a small man in a number of ways....AMF

Can't blame the kid or parents for questioning an eleventh hour offer. Glad to see they are handling it very maturely and being level headed about it.
