My vote for thread of the year

What thread do you think had the most impact on TD members so far this year containing new information about a recruit?
My vote is "Check this kid out that lives on the street behind me." IMO this thread let the Tiger Nation know about a recruit first, even the pay sites were linking to TD for more information.
Thanks TD for being the best site for college football.

That was an excellent thread... although we had to give Born to be a Tiger some guff considering the referees in that thread were running 3.9 40-yard dashes.

You might be right about that being the first thread about LS, but IMO it did not have the impact like the one with the video.

I got a lot of flamming about the speed of the video. I did not have anything to do with the speed and that was the best I could do. I am tech challenged.

I'm partial to the stickied thread with the write-ups. There's been a lot of work put into that thread by several people. And there's still plenty of time for some other guys to give us a hand. I really don't want to do any more of them but I will if it lags.

I think those two threads battle for one and two this year.
Born has been such a great asset to this board. We cannot thank him enough for the the information he and Jen Seastrunk have given us.

Clean, I am about to do another write up. I have to look at who I am signed up for...there aren't too many left for us to do.
The sticky has been a HUGE success...I hope everyone really appreciates the time, effort, and information available there.

Especially once the recruiting class is finished, it can be edited to the players LSU has coming in. Basically give everyone that does not follow recruiting as closely as us the opportunity to learn about the incoming players.

Agreed. It's vital that every time there is an update we post a thread to let everyone know and allow them to discuss the prospect.
For being an 'out of the blue' idea, it couldn't have worked out better than it has thus far.
The only change I would make would be for the writers of the summaries to edit their original summary if the board thinks something should be adjusted. I don't always agree with every thing in the summaries, so that would be a nice touch (even if you or I wrote the article).

I think that all you guys have done an outstanding job on those write ups. You guys have given this board great value. The thread you guys created is a masterpiece plus it's free.
