Not ready to say that but his high school film is more impressive

Overall probably not but he moves freakish for an OL you don't see very often. Maybe a higher ceiling due to his athleticism. Wouldn't be shocked to see him crack the starting lineup as a true freshman.

Could be. His upside is higher. Campbell developed enough to start all year as a freshman. We'll see about Heard. Never know with OL guys. Look at all the highly rated busts we have or have had on the OL.

Also never had a Coach like Kelly either, look at his history with linemen. Campbell is a top five pick in 2025, if Heard has more upside, I feel for these SEC defensive lines.

I agree and that’s no disrespect to Campbell.

Perhaps Emory can play Center? That could fit Heard in at RT and keeps the solid guards we have in as well. Emory seems to have the feet to be a pulling center on counters.

I know it’s easy to say in hindsight because he didn’t turn into a perennial NFL pro bowler

But La’El was a consensus top 5 overall recruit. Ranked 3 overall in the 247 Composite.

That’s why I say sell out after Spring Ball on the top RB in the portal…

La'el was great but did not have this kid's size & length or stopping power.

This right here sir! I never really get too upset about missing a prospect but even I have to admit losing big Cam Robinson to Bama hurt. There just arent that many big lineman that come out of LA but when they do they seem pretty impactful. (Whitworth, Collins etc) Good to see NE represented at LSU more. The top of LA knows how to play also. Need all of LA in to own the SEC. Time to put that fence up and this time slap barbwire on top of it so the midget cant climb over.

Than Campbell was coming in? Probably. Then Campbell will be when Heard steps on campus? Probably not. Better than Jones when he steps on campus? Very possible.
