Why all of the pussyfooting around? Either he wants to be recruited by LSU again (in which case a single phone call to Miles or Haley would take care of that), or he doesn't.
It's pretty telling to me that LSU hasn't reached out to him following the news that he has de-committed. LSU thinks that their time and effort is better spent elsewhere...or thinks that chasing Hootie may send the wrong message to Adams.

And guys, we have had commits in this class verify they talked to hootie YESTERDAY and that he was telling them he wants on board.

Gees, I've had a dozen LSU fans who don't really follow recruiting tell me that I could be a LSU reporter, recruiting expert, or personality of sorts and I am not any more knowledgeable than anyone else who has followed this stuff on the rant along with a pay site or two since the '03 season.
It isn't surprising to me to me at all that the media is full of knowitalls who are just regurgitating stuff from the people who do the real leg work in interviews and travelling to games to do their own evaluations.
I would love to make a living off of going to games and evaluating players, etc so when I hear about the guys who actually do have those jobs and don't put any time into it I lose any respect that I might have once had for their opinions.

I always enjoy how the cognitively impaired can't tell the difference between bringing information to their attention and personally advocating a position. Such people ensure that to some degree, every single thread stays dumbed down.

24/7 had a guy sit down with Hootie and his mom the day he decommitted.
Tifwiw, he said Hootie asked him to not share their conversations yet. The analyst hasnt, but has switched his crystal ball pick to LSU.
Jacory washington has been in touch with him. So has Harris and Diarse.
