LINK

Rivals has us as low interest, would love to steal him from the west coast teams. I'm thinking us as a long shot with Oregon as the front runner because of the timing of his decomit. Any word on this kid?

I think he is all Notre Dame. To be honest I would rather Priest Willis because I think he can play either safety or corner. Man as much as I hate to say this it looks like with Notre Dame being successful again they are going to start getting even more big time recruits. I remember in the 90's they could recruit anyone from anywhere.

I agree with you about Notre Dame's resurgence. The 2013 jump they've made is a direct result of their recent success and they still are recruiting from everywhere. They've been lurking around the top 15 with Brian Kelly the past couple of years and he is a great recruiter. Rebuilding may have been slow by Notre Dame standards, but they are looking pretty good right now.

My fear is that with the large Catholic population they'll start to get a couple guys from Louisiana every other year.

I don't think many of the guys we recruit are hardcore catholics man.....

ND is the favorite. He's taking a visit to Oregon soon so we'll see if they can sway him but it was the visit to ND that caused him to second guess his commitment to SC.

Typical...every recruit is "blown away" by the last thing he sees. The 5-second twitter attention span generation...basically, functional retards.

Which is why Kiffin always tries to get the recruits to take official visits at the last minutes.

Last thing you see.

This is good, USC should only be getting guys that have always dreamed of USC...that's how they recruit regular students. If USC isn't your one and only goal for college - they don't want you. Trojan for life.

Not necessarily "hardcore", but maybe more than previously from south LA would give it a look.

Granted I'm not a up and coming recruit, but being a college aged black catholic kid from south LA, I may have a different perspective, and I'd give definitely give them a look if I was in that position, if I was looking to go somewhere outside of Louisiana/the south.

Not saying many, if any, will/would go, because I'm not sure what their campus looks like and stuff, but that line could be sold to someone who liked what they saw up there. Plus, LSU is one of the couple elite programs in the nation right now.

SEC! Nuff said. ND is not relevant. Let those recruits visit SB for a game now where it is freezing and icing.

Well as much as I hate to say this, if Notre Dame starts winning again they will pull kids from everywhere including Louisiana. I know we have a great tradition but lets be honest Notre Dame's throphy case is probably pretty special. Another thing is the media has been waiting forever for them to be relevant again. If they have a couple 10-11 win seasons in a row the media will pass out from lack of fluids do to all the fapping. I hate Notre Dame by the way. Just telling you the truth.

Just curious. how old are you? Notre Dame has not been relevant for a lifetime for today's recruits. The media can build them up but they still have to go to the filed and perform (i.e. USC).

I am 40 and completely agree with you. Notre Dame hasn't been relevant in a long time. My point is if they become relevant again they will pull top recruits from everywhere.

Kids go to who is trending.

Since 1/9 LSU is on the downswing; Notre Dame is trending up and the talk of recruits.
