I knew he was NOT coming to LSU when the Gumbo poster was persistent that we could "Book it"
The best and most credible posters are people of very few words.
When a poster engages in back in forth, and is very confident, that just tells you there are a fan who has lost touch with how recruiting works.
Again, if Sonny and Shea aren't talking about it a player they are feeling really good about, it ain't happening.

Obviously I'd want Malik but I said early on that I thought Blakeney was a more valuable "get". I've been very impressed with Blakeney regarding his public comments, his work ethic (as demonstrated in his videos) and his demeanor. I'm not bashing Malik because he looks talented but I think Blakeney can be a level above.

I can't wait to call out everyone that is b*tching and saying "we don't need him", "we don't want him", "no chest", "attention whore", etc. if he is playing the game and announces us tomorrow. You'll be the main one on his bandwagon if he suits up in P&G.
Relax....our class is already great and if we don't land Malik, we will be fine. However, if we do land Malik, it's just icing on the cake. I'm excited for the future of LSU Basketball and so should you. Leave the guy alone if he decides to stay in state and play for his home school.

Nobody is saying anything like that and I know we'll be fine without him. I never said I didn't want him he would be a great addition but I would rather sign a big man now we are fine at the guard positions. I think Malik is a hell of a player but we need a big

....hell , I'm happy with Sampson. Great upside 4-star. Local guy. ... and he just might stay more than 1 year ! No complaints here

I was calling BruneDog an Attention Whore for starting this thread.
I in no way was calling Malik "Book It" Newman anything...
My mistake, I can see now how that was misconstrued.
