I would rather have 3 rb from next year's class and only 2 rb commits for this year.

I said the same thing a while back. If LSU wants Bolden more as a slot WR, then try to snag Valentine up and you have a true thunder and lightning combo with him and Curry.

Guys we do not need a speed guy. We needed a power guy, which is why we offered Curry and Carter.

CEH is the 3rd down back and a good one at that.

CEH will be more than just a third down back. That dude is up to 215. He's gonna be a bowling ball.

If it were me and I'm sure they're going at it like this too. Go after Carter, valentine, joiner, and franklin to go along with curry. If they don't come that's their decision but I believe they would all be a take! CEH was the lone wolf last year and their truly isn't a true star after Williams and guice depart. Nick has shown flashes but with Robinsons coaching style he will play 4-5 backs we're after have different running styles. It would be a 4-5 headed monster that Canada and Robinson could give OC's fits with! And with the wide outs we have and are getting good lord... could be scary good

I would be fine with Curry, Carter, and Valentine.

I doubt Joiner would commit b/c of pressure from other commits.

He will likely end up at another position anyway.

Obviously you go after elite backs every year, but Tiger fans have been spoiled with two generational type talents in LF7 and Guice at the same time.

Miles needed these types to help his 1970's offense work.

Canada would take em gladly but his offense will make solid backs like Curry etc. very effective because of its diversity and opening up the box.

LSU has their speed and 2 power backs now. Franklin get his grades right and he would be the 4th or would this end the class? That's 3 very good RBs.

Between this board and 247, that's too many 3*. Not good enough

I've been on the Carter train from day 1. I'll duck out of here after saying this, but I don't love the rb we just got from Florida.

I believe Bolden isn't coming because of numbers.

He better jump on it now, because if Carter commits we may take one more running back and Joiner and Franklin will be taken over Bolden.

At wide receiver you have Marshall, Jason, Keys, Chase, and Jenkins (already committed) or bolden..

These kids must realize that there are limited slots available to be had. I also believe the domino's are about to fall.

I think these two are very similar to backs we've had here in the past. Curry reminds me a lot of Spencer Ware with his power, vision, and refusal to be tackled. Carter is very similar to Charles Scott. He has great vision and can make one cut to get downfield. Neither have homerun speed though.

In this type of offense I think all these backs can take it to the house on any given down. Canada is the type to put these guys in for a purpose, wear a team out with your big backs then put two or three guys in that can get in the open field and house it while moving them all around to throw the defense's keys off. If you have 2 or 3 guys that can do the same thing it's much more difficult to key in on the one guy who will get the ball. This is why I like this offense so much. LSU can bust you in the mouth for 5 plays but then go finesse on you, which makes an offense so hard to deal with. If you have guys that can do both and are balanced which these guys are it makes it extremely hard to stop. These guys can go down field and block just as well as go down field to catch a pass. They are slowly building a versatile offense with a great mix of power and speed.

I tried to tell you guys! AJ is very underrated doesn't chase stars at showcase camps.
He came to camp and showed his athleticism and showed his physicality. He ended the day of one of the LBs covering him in one on ones.

I heard Orgeron took him to the stadium himself!

And Jeremy Hill right before that. The last 5 years of RBs at LSU has been absolutely insane.
