Loser mentality. Do you think Bama gives a shite about this kind of stuff? Hell no they go after the best and players go there to compete at the highest level. We aren't talking about fournette level of talent with Brennan. Players should want to come and compete and if they don't then go elsewhere because the entitlement bs isn't going to fly with O.

Offering Mett cost us Bridgewater, I don't think that was a good trade.

Can't put all your eggs in one basket. These kids owe LSU nothing until signing day and honestly LSU needs to do what it takes to get back to championship level.

Well when we have Nattys every season, we can do it to. You have two really good prospects close to home that you can close at a critical position of need. Alabama is getting a look from him because of that hardware.

So what's the fallback plan from this?

Why because I have a different point of view? You know, you're right. Let's see how this works out.

I wondered why he didn't offer him when he became interim coach? He had the power to do so, but at that time he was still a pro-style coach. Now, on the cusp of early-enrollment UA and Army All-American games, you finally do? I'm not against offering to the best.

It just seems impulsive so late in the game and without a developed relationship, nor an OC to recruit him. Meanwhile, next door the #4 ranked pro-style QB is thinking, WTF and your other dual threat is out visiting Memphis because you previously made a statement about being a pro-style guy. I just wonder where the strategy is behind this decision and that's not bitchy, that's intuitive.

I am with you. Stick with MB and LN. They are both talented and both want to be Tigers. I mean, it's the same argument for O being head coach, isn't it?????

That offer could cause us to lose Myles

This tweet doesn't look so good for us to keep him anymore

Would not have any problems with it either

And what's going to happen when Brennan doesn't start right away and we bring in QBs next year? Is he going to take his ball and go home? That approach doesn't work in football or the real world.

When it comes to recruiting I'd trust Coach O over any or all of the trembling experts here or any other online forum. He's a terrific recruiter, he is in constant contact, knows the prospect best and since he's the one holding the cup, he can read the tea leaves better than anyone else. I have every confidence he will navigate us to a spectacular class that both fills current needs as well as position depth to future proof against the inevitable injuries that are near certain.

Yeah, It's amazing isn't it? When it comes to recruits "it's go out and get the best." Even though we have two that seem to love LSU ready to be Tigers. Doesn't matter if O is the best because he loves LSU supposedly
