LSU offers 2019 5* QB from Cali. JT Daniels.

The Tigers kicked off the week by extending an offer to 5-star quarterback JT Daniels, the top-ranked prospect at the position in next year’s recruiting class. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound California native is the No. 1 ranked pro-style passer and the No. 8 overall recruit in the cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Daniels has enjoyed a rather busy spring already. He has procured a handful of offers from college football powers, including Alabama, Washington, Stanford and Michigan, among others. He has made his way to both Alabama, Michigan, Washington and Stanford for unofficial visits, and the Cardinal holds 90 percent of the Crystal Ball predictions on 247Sports.
Daniels attends Mater Dei (Calif.) High School, so the West Coast ties are imminent.

Yeah, FWIW I don't think he'll go to Alabama either. Just putting our name in the hat of elite Football Powers to offer.

You never know what might happen in these guys life to pull them to LSU but if you never offer you sure as hell don't have a shot. I like that LSU is finally dropping their name in the hats of these great QBs. One of these days LSU will get one and that QB will start or continue the QB rich tradition at LSU. It's time we get these guys attention. You just never freakn know. If we keep at it and be persistent LSU will have that heisman type of QB playing for them sometime soon. GT
The QB project days are GONE!!! Thank the good Lord! You have to admit Orgeron isn't afraid to go big and I love that about him. He backs up what he says. I'll never forget when he said well we need first round OL to block their first round Front.
We may not get these guys right off BUT if we garner momentum during the season watch out. Once the winning starts it will come down to which coach would you like to play for. If he's winning at the same clip or even close to the championship teams, then it won't be close, LSU will be the place to be. The argument that coach O doesn't know jack will be shattered if the man starts beating the so called genius's.

How many dollars did we waste offering him?
Posted on 6/15/17 at 4:25 pm to Blanky6715
The paper, ink, and/or electricity it took.

I'm sure the staff knows it's going to be almost impossible to pull him away from the west coast..therefore I applaud them for at least making an effort..getting LSU'S name out there and showing these coaches and kids that LSU will come if you're good enough..maybe someone out there has ties to LA, maybe someone just wants to gtfo of where he's been living and try something new.. I'm glad they're going all over the country trying to get the best players.. you don't just not try, bruh.
