I want to hear your scenario as to why a JUCO QB is a good idea.

People need to wrap their heads around the fact there is very little that can be done for the 2015 season. Getting Foster to come back to football was more about 2015 than this year imo.

Why would a high quality juco consider coming here with a true jr and soph qb on the roster. Jennings may transfer, but there's a good chance and most likely probably that the decision won't be made until post signing day and maybe not until after spring practice.

It's also unlikely that you could convince a no sit xfer to come as a guaranteed backup. Face it. Our best current walk on will probably be our best option as a backup if Jennings leaves.

Why does everyone seem to be so sure that Jennings will transfer? Why does everyone seem so sure that Harris will beat Jennings out? Are there actual coaches on this board or is all of this coming from fans and the spring game stats, preseason hype..etc? This time last year, Jennings was gonna win 9 Heismans. I'll just go ahead and let the season play out and AJ doesn't seem to me like a guy who will just roll over for anyone.

Because the Rant has decided that Jennings is garbage already and Harris is the next big thing. Nevermind the fact that all last year we heard how Jennings was a coaches dream. I trust our staff to keep solid depth at QB in 2015 until the '16 kids get here. Everyone take a deeo breath and relax.

I think It would be a good idea. I don't think it needs to be a highly recruited guy. If someone can come in that's taken snaps at the Juco level, could be beneficial at practice

I don't assume Jennings will transfer or that Harris will beat Jennings out. I'm not a coach, but I can recognize the possibility that Harris will beat him out and that as a result that Jennings may choose to transfer.

I also can look at the roster and know that there are only 2 scholarship qbs--excluding the possibility that Foster may have gotten one to lure him back to football or that one of the other walkons were awarded one as an incentive to stay. I also know that recruiting is about the future and there probably isn't time to let the season play out before deciding what our future needs may be.

It's called program management and our coaches have an responsibility to manage these possibilities as best they can. As a fan I can't know all their options, but I can anticipate many and discuss it with other intelligent fans. It's the others that are the problem.

Did not forget, but I don't think he will be an EE, and if he isn't, for sure our walk ons will be better options imo.
