I posted this in another thread but Ill share it again here. Wouldnt get my hopes up with Stripling.

Id find it hard to believe A&M wouldnt make room for a top 200 overall talent like Stripling, especially if he has been cluing their staff into his intentions.
ETA: Again, this conversation happened over the summer right after The Opening. I wish LSU could snag him.

Funny how the above poster said proximity to him was top priority and he then chooses Norman.
Last I checked, Baton Rouge is about 2 hours closer to Houston than Norman.

Agreed. Again, this was a conversation the weekend after The Opening. Looks as things have changed, just dont know if it was Stripling that had a change of heart or A&M, regardless, my dad received the impression Stripling would not be at LSU, which bummed him out haha

Apparently Stripling's stock has dropped this season and he hasn't looked to great. Don't think he is currently a take for TAMU, LSU, or Bama.
