Lets hope for a big year from Mingo in Cleveland and an impressive showing from the LSU Defense this season. That should help Brick and Chavis get more of his attention.

Vaguely relevant, from ESPN (didn't want to start another thread)...
Five-star defensive end Da'Shawn Hand (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge) announced he will make a decision on Nov. 14. He will likely choose between his top three schools of Michigan, Alabama, and Florida, but LSU and USC are still in the mix.
Yet another hat? Someone must make a fortune selling all these LSU hats to the nets to put on their desks!

It was recently reported that he and carter have spoken about playing together at Alabama. I understand the likelihood of landing both is about 5-10% for Alabama, but with a shot at Cam and Marlon Humphrey I wouldn't write alabama off yet from stealing the number 1 spot in the final hour, that would be 4 top 10 players. Flame away.

That's not that crazy, but it'd take a lot to wrestle that top spot if LSU gets everybody we're supposed to with the exception of Cam. We'll still end up with 8 5 stars which would be pretty unprecedented.

Top 7? If the guy hasn't whittled it down to 2, maybe 3 teams max then he's just catfishing at this point. It would be nice to see him in purple and gold, but I got a sneaking suspicion there is less than a 1 in 7 shot of that.
