I was under the impression we were more of a player for Elijah Thomas than Newman at this point. Fuggit, let's take all three and a blue chip or two in LA.

Imagine if we pulled Newman and Simmons AND JOB, Mickey, and Martin all returned for one more season.

Got it. I was looking at 2015 and thinking next season because it is currently 2014. My football mind has trouble with basketball.

Perhaps this has been discussed elsewhere, but what changes might we see with a 7-foot Robinson coming in if all three talented bigs return?

Basketball recruiting is so much different than football recruiting...for once, when a kid commits even his junior year in basketball, most opposing coaches lay off...you hardly see decommitments outside of coaching changes and other things.

Ben will be a tiger...no worries on that

We are a major player for Newman. Close to home, likes CJJ, likes the rise of the program, likes idea of playing with Simmons. We may even lead. Dude keeps coming to LSU games. Shaq was courting him.

He's going to Kentucky. Kansas has an outside shot, but not likely. Kentucky will be reloading with next years recruiting class after their current freshmen have all jumped. Probably have a better shot at his teamate, Kegler f, but he's just a sophomore that didn't even play last year. He's indicated he likes MS State and Texas, so I think LSU could have a shot at him if he doesn't necessarily want to ride with the typical big boys.

I watched the video and was impressed. When I saw he was 6'9" and 240 running, handling and passing like that, I had a tiny orgasm.
