He'll probably fluctuate up and down the rankings over the next few years, but having him in the top-5 is a great selling point for other blue-chip recruits.

Noticed he was from Jackson, but I don't really follow basketball recruiting much. Are we recruiting him heavily? Noticed his only offers were MSU and Bama who we might have a leg up on in terms of what we can offer in basketball.

We are a major player for Newman. Close to home, likes CJJ, likes the rise of the program, likes idea of playing with Simmons. We may even lead. Dude keeps coming to LSU games. Shaq was courting him.

The offer list doesn't matter. Kentucky is considered the leader for him. He is from Shreveport originally and he has already visited LSU unofficially. LSU has an outside shot, especially if they can get him to visit more often.

i flipped over to 2016 kids and saw Thon Maker was #1. I didn't know he transferred from Country Day.
