He did not get an offer. No QB was offered today.

I'm guessing Jack Samsel is the kid from Alabama. A kid named Mason Schucker from Arkansas was there today.

Was he possibly offered at a different position and that's the cause of the confusion?

Not saying this is the case but there is definitely a strategy to either not wanting him to go public about the offer or telling him it's contingent on what other targets do, particularly Justin Fields and Grant Gunnell. They also may want to see how his senior year goes.

Yeah he seemed quite determined on his senior year when talking to him! Hopefully he earns his spot

Randy is a nice sleeper, he wont have to do all that running if he comes here tho. He'll be surrounded by plenty enough talent.

I can see what they like out of him. Has some good height, and a nice arm. Natural athlete but will need a couple of years to develop which he will or should have. I don't know him so I don't know what his leadership qualities are like but I'll trust the coaches on that. This is really all LSU had to do all along was get the best 5 or 6 kids that are being overlooked on campus, let them work out for you then offer the best 2, then get them time in the system. Meanwhile you continue to recruit the best you can get the following years. You will end up with a quality qb if you put in the time and effort. I like where we are going with this recruiting business. Keep at it O and staff keep at it. Man if we could just get some darn OTs to see the potential they have at LSU we will be golden. Hold TTB

I'm confused. Bacchus is ranked 15 spots behind Jordan Loving. Why is he a better option?

Seem to be a lot of "sleepers" being offered this year....
Hmmm.

What's this kid's bday? Surely he's too old to be qualified to play his senior year.

Have you seen what Louisiana has this year? It's not like we are loaded at every position. I would rather our coaches know what they have in state now then to wait and it be too late. As for as offensive recruiting goes these national recruits will want to see what LSU puts on the field first then we will have a visual to back up what is being told to them. IMO that's when LSU is going to land the best recruits in this years class. Even if we lose a few games they want to see some improvement in the overall game plan. If we look good in the lose just lost to a better overall team shouldn't hurt but help our cause. Here's to a great season!
