Elite athlete. I think he ends up in the class.

Just how fast is Pooka? On some sites I see he runs a 4.57 which is fairly slow for a Sproles-type back. Then I read where he ran a 4.32 which sounds ridiculous. Then I read where he's the state 100 meter champ. So which is it?

He's fast. I know he runs 100m, but I don't follow his track status. I would say he's a legit laser 4.45 or faster

He's starting at corner as a true freshman BTW

Almost had a pick 6 against state today. Returned it 61 yards to the 2 yard line. However his small size did show on a highlight I saw of QB Fitzgerald fending him off like a fly to score a TD.

He runs tough and would be perfect as a wr for jet sweeps, short routes out of the backfield, return game. He has a lot of value and is in the conversation for the best athlete in the state. You do not let that kid go if you can help it.

Very upset that we didn't think he deserved a shot. He could have contributed I think. But I love the way our freshman are playing right now there will be mistakes and they will bite on the fakes but Jeeze they look good.

I'm a fan of amik and will follow LA tech just so I can watch some of his highlights and I think he will have a lot

From what I read, Williams ran all over John Ehret Friday night.

If this is true, why did we just offer him?

This doesnt make any sense considering we offered these guys in this order:

Tae Provens -> Slade Bolden -> Pooka Williams

I also think we never thought of Slade as a RB though, where as Pooka they can see playing there a good bit as with Provens.

I think they saw Slade as a slot WR but he's just not higher on the board there than Keys or Watkins.

Last year he averaged a TD every 6 touches against some of the best competition in the state.

It amazes me that he can run the way he does cutting, spinning, shifting, and 4.3 speed with no toes on his left foot. In Canada's offense he is definitely a take.

Lost them in a childhood accident.

To put those numbers in even better perspective, consider that Pooka has no toes on his left foot. Williams said he lost those toes during a lawnmower accident involving a lawnmower when he was about 7 years old.

He has prosthetic toes that clamp onto the foot.

“But I don’t use them anymore,’’ Williams said. “I got used to not having them. So I don’t need them anymore.’’
