That's actually a good thing. Means he hasn't peaked in high school. Or like you say he hasn't even gotten close. Him being ranked this high after numerous evaluations shows he has elite talent. Now he gets Coach Orgeron to develop him.

I would rather take an elite player that just scratching the surface, then one who reached their peak in high school.

Roddy is another player with huge potential. He might be a senior in high school, but he's really young for his grade. Might not even be a full 17 years old yet.

The main thing(s) Ed has to work on has not much to do with his on the field play. He has basically been a big fish in a small pond. Raw talent/size has created a hype for him. I think when or if he makes it to LSU, he will have much ground to gain. Coach O will take care of the rest, no doubt.

I agree with you on Roddy. Lots of upside to him as a young senior. I think he has the most potential.

He plays football with passion. Some athletic kids play football because they're good at it and they like to compete. Others just love the game and are football players at their core. Roddy and Da'Monte Moxie play every snap with intensity. Those are the main two I watched highlights on this year. I'm sure the staff is recruiting plenty with the same mentality for the game.

Good point. Anthony Johnson and Clifton Garrett peaked in high school

Funny you mention Coxie. Both Roddy and Coxie are the two guys in this class I'm pulling for. Maybe I like the underdog recruits that shine once they get the chance. dedicated players giving it their all on every play.

Ed needs to get away from a certain person who is a leech dying to latch onto him for personal gain. This guy is bad news and has done this to other kids in that parish with potential. I hope LSU is monitoring this.

Ed made a few nice plays Friday night but our O Line got good push still... now Cameron Dantzler killed us bc we don't have a defense...

Some coaches/teams/staffs see and that and reward that (with scholarships). No doubt LSU under Miles has.

I don't think some of those peaked in HS. I think some of those just quit working hard, or hard enough. No matter the physical build and skill set, still have to put in a lot of work at the college level to shine.
