Yea no kidding, 247 is totally manipulating this to make it close! prior to Allen committing LSU had moved down like 10 points in the last week without even loosing a commit.

You are referencing the 247Composite, which weighs in ESPN, 247, Rivals and Scout. Each site did their wave of final updates over the past weeks, so the 247Composite (which determines No. 1 class on 247's site) has been adjusting after each update.
Lawrence will be a massive jump on the Composite though because he's so highly-rated on all sites.

It doesn't show Allen as one of LSU's last three committments even though he is listed among the 21. Maybe they haven't updated the total points yet.

The article says number one, but the list shows us at 2. They don't know what they are doing.
