"I'll just be about 80 percent (when I enroll early). I'll be sprinting by then and just starting my cutting phase. I'll be almost to the finish line," the four-star said. "A quarterback is a decision-maker and a leadership position. If you can do those things and be better than the guy you're competing with then you can be the starting quarterback. I think I have a great chance of doing that."

During his high school career with the Wildcats, Narcisse racked up 5,433 passing yards, 2,344 rushing yards and 98 total touchdowns.

Really sad he has missed as much time as he has. I think he could have gone down as the most prolific careers for a QB in Louisiana high school history if he never got hurt both times.

Like that he'll get to redshirt and fully heal up before even thinking of contributing. Want to see him play down the road. I know most everyone is on board with Brennan for the future but each year these last 3 seasons we've switched QBs. So you never know.

Not saying I am glad it happened to him, but he has said himself that going through those hardships made him a better man. His patience and maturity will help him in the long run when it comes to playing QB. Competition will be stiff but I think he will give everybody a run for their money when it is all said and done.

It's better for one of them to redshirt, we've had a problem with lack depth at QB

We keep putting our chips in for one guy, glad we have two studs.

Brennan=Russell
Narcisse=Flynn

hopefully they both can redshirt.

Brennan needs to eat like 500 cheeseburgers.

There is no question both will redshirt. Brennan is good but it will take time to learn the playbook and adjust to a pro style offense. He isn't taking Etlings spot from him.

And like you said, 6'4 180 isn't going to cut it

I know Lowell and I know he's been told that he could start next year as a freshman. I admire his confidence but at the same time I think it's naive for him to think that there's any realistic shot of him being the starter. I also don't think that his family views Brennan as a legit threat, which is a huge mistake.

We will have a boatload of depth at QB next year, both will 100% redshirt.

rSR. Etling
SR. Harris
rSO. McMillian
rFR. Scott
FR. Brennan
FR. Narcisse

No reason for either of them to play next year.

Do you really know in fact how many QBs will be on the roster next year?

Really pulling for Narcisse. I admire his resilience. The kid has had some tough breaks and keeps fighting. He has character and a bright future ahead of him.

I'm glad he is a tiger.

Yeah, I know Auburn told him the same. I'm sure the less-prestigious schools (Virginia, UNC, Memphis, etc) are telling him that as well. They know he loves LSU, so they're gonna play the "they have so many QBs at LSU already - here you could start as a freshman" card. It's their only chance if swaying him

Stranger things have happened but I won't hold my breath. I hope he comes in competing as if he is fighting for the starting position.

I don't care what his family think as long as he treats this as it is a position that he will have to earn and not given. Both he and Brennan will redshirt hell Helen Keller would could see that and tell him about it.

I was mistaken. He was not told that he could start next year - he was told that he could start as a freshman (meaning redshirt). That seems more plausible.
