I really hope he comes back strong, but you have to be pessimistic about a QB with Multiple ACL tears. It depends on how you define "play at a high level". There have been 6 players in the NFL to make it back after 2 ACL tears. 2 of them QBs(Bradford and RGIII). Most would probably compare his game to that of RGIII, who has not seen anywhere close to the level of success to prior injury. Wishing for the best, but long odds.

I am not saying he won't be able to perform, what I am saying is that you have a two-legged horse and both those horses legs have been surgically repaired not to have concern would be foolish. Doesn't mean he won't be able to perform just means if you are smart you have a VERY good backup plan in place.

Any number of NFL players have had both knees done and are fine. The surgically repaired knee is often stronger than before. It's not unusual for the other knee to go out after the first injury. I forget the exact reason, something to do with overcompensation or training imbalance.

Would rather have an elite DT, DE, or LB over a left-handed, twice injured QB of which we have plenty.

I disagree. I am more concerned about a guy with only one tear. After you recover from ACL surgery you are very likely to screw up the other knee. The new surgeries are good and your knee is probably stronger than it was before the surgery.

Yep, many folks don't realize that often times following the surgery the knee is even stronger than it was prior to the injury. Not to mention the fact that James Andrews performed the surgeries -- it's not like he had some River Parishes Hospital intern with a dull spoon performing it.

Great job trying to keep his name at the top of the board. You are the only one who keep bringing up the ACL. Whoever let him come back to play 5 months after reconstructive needs to be kicked in the ding-ding.

I could post everything negative that's been said but it'd take me hours to compile it all. You must not read this board much if you honestly believe what you typed.

Anyway I talked to him this morning and he said LSU

I see you bring it up more than anyone else does. I hope he recovers and is given PLENTY of time to rehab and not rushed back this time.

Probably redundant by now but Narcisse's head coach at St. James said about the injury that he's good to go.

As someone who has seen both QBs play multiple times, I can attest that Narcisse is wayyyy better than Thompson, and it's really not close. To say you'd rather have Thompson is just asinine. This is the type of shite I just don't understand.
