This kid had some much better offers early even some Sec schools I think. Committed to La Tech then committed to Tulane then went back to Tech and then Holtz was hired and told him they werent taking any more D-Lineman. Also Tulane will sign Tristan Cooper who was at Tampa Plant this year, but was at University Lab before that. He is the son of Ron Cooper.

so the dt from parkway chose mcneese over offers from south carolina,ole miss,oregon st, smu, tulane,and memphis?? what gives, grades?????

If you'll go up a few posts I talked about it a bit. If he would stayed committed to Tulane he'd be there, he didnt and they replaced him. Then the new staff at La Tech wouldn't honor his commitment. I think he tried to get an offer from Tulane and Ull after that and they both told him no.

The kids usually report their offers to the recruiting websites. There's no telling what schools were offering commitable scholarships.
Glad to get him though. If it sticks until tomorrow, then McNeese obviously got a good player at a position that's been lacking for quite a while.

Not showing an offer anymore. Kind of disappointed, I read his twitter and he had a bunch of stuff about getting drunk and going through checkpoints. Seems like a fun guy.
