first of all, garin cecchini is not going to be back for this year, talking about high school baseball. i just got off the phone with him and he just had his 8 week checkup with dr.andrews, dr.andrews said that he has never seen a knee that has progressed as well as his knee is progressing. he will begin jogging in 2 weeks. hitting in mid june. sprinting in mid july. and be ready for fall instructional league if he signs pro or fall baseball at lsu. this is a testament of how hard garin has worked! just letting all the lsu fans know that garin has told me that wants to be a lsu tiger, but if they meet his number, he will not be showing up. and there are some big market teams in his house every single week! and theyve said the injury does not stop them on how hard they will go after him!

Yes - Aaron Nola is a junior. He's expected to take the mound today - just not sure how long he will last after hernia surgery. He's got a wicked delivery - kind of whips the ball side-armed like Matty Ott.

Incorrect actually. Spoke with the coach last night and Alex Massey is starting today for Catholic. Nola is available to pitch, but his role is yet to be determined.

look for dutchtown sophomore Troy Lewis. he'll be one of the best mlb prospects out of the state in a couple of years.

speaking of Barbe, when do Keenen Fontenot, Trey Quinn, and the Jordan Twins get there? Are they finishing 8th Grade?

yes they are finishing 8th grade, but with baseball you get drama. ever since their world series run there has been talk about st. louis or barbe....daddy's are greedy.

most of the talk was about fontenot and quinn. pretty sure the jordans are locks for barbe
