Liggins Next Jamarcus?

Just from the highlights I've seen, he reminds me of Jamarcus Russell. Jamarcus was a big guy, but could take off on the run if needed.

I agree about the arm. Jamarcus had a cannon. Just comparing the size and running styles.

I laughed pretty hard when someone poste in the Liggins thread calling him the next Jamarcus... And he was meaning it as a bad thing
People apparently forgot how good Jamarcus was for us. Id take another J Russ all day and tommorow

i always thought JM had decent gray matter. butter fingers and not being careful handling the ball (not nesc throwing decisions) were his biggest issues in college. NFL problems, well that's a whole different thing.

this, Rohan was a shorter Russell with a weaker arm. Both could take off when they wanted and tough to bring down.

Hopefully Liggins isn't the answer at QB in the future. I think he is a pretty good athlete that can play a few other positions though. I don't see a major college arm to have him play QB.

Why wouldnt you want him as the answer? That doesnt even make sense. He has and will have plenty of talent around him so if he were to win the starting job, he would have earned it and would be a sucessful option for us

Andrew Hatch won our starting job too at one point in time; it doesn't mean he was suited to be our QB.
I hope LSU can find a stronger QB prospect in the 2013 class.
