Press release about game

My thoughts:

West team has Trey Quinn, Darrell Williams and Donnie Alexander. East team has Hootie & Cam Sims. West team may be unstoppable with Kennon Fontenot & Quinn playing together. Russell Gage will probably be covering Quinn a lot so we'll see how good he is. There are lots of other really talented guys playing. I am going to try to get over for it.

The West team has two really good OL with Bailey Granier & Hunter Perrin. There are some speedy guys like Dontrell Hilliard & Daniel Lewis in the game. You've got a couple of big backs with Darrell & Kameron McKnight. A bunch of these guys have D1 offers.

Why is Quinn even play in this kind of bowl? Why risk injuring yourself against kids who have something to prove. He doesnt have anything to prove. Dont think that is a good idea. Kids who play in these type of bowls are still trying ot "prove" themselves so to speak

doubt very seriosly is some of the big names on this list actually play.. makes no sense for them.

It's not worth him or hootie's effort to play in this "all star" bowl.
I'll be very suprised if any of the 'big' names actually suit up for this

I agree with this but if they go to the game they need to play. What would bother me if I was a big time recruit is that kid on the field looking for an offer just waiting to lay out an LSU or BAMA commit.

Now that this game has been revived, Louisiana needs a junior All Star game like Georgia has.

Be interesting if they play him there. He's got great ball skills, and I always thought he would be a really good receiver (which he played all summer in the 7v7 tournaments) but its hard to take him away from that DE spot. I know a certain LB whose Dad posts on here that enjoyed playing behind him chewing up double teams from the OL.

He did find out today he apparently made first team All-District at DE and PK. How's that for an interesting combo? He might be the tallest kicker I've ever seen.

Glad to hear about him. Also glad someone else will be there. I hope it doesn't rain a lot. Right now Shreveport's forecast for that day is 70% Rain.
