Because his entire family are die hard Longhorns fans and have been pretty vocal about wanting Fowler in Austin. Fowler says he always liked LSU and it's his decision, but a lot of recruiting analysts think he could possibly be flipped. I hope he sticks with us. He's a stud and could be Beckwith's replacement at MLB.

No reason to add borderline guys when we are in the running for so many top fish. I think we need 5-6 LBs, and there is a great chance that we get 2 of the group that we are recruiting the hardest.

Beckwith needs to come back for another year and improve his draft stock. He is not polished enough for a 1st round selection.

I think he needs to come back too, but after seeing Myles Jack injured, and Kwon left early and is doing good so far, he's gone this year.

I think we need depth that's why I said add roach and harris if we have more room, bc players get hurt,transfer,don't do well in the classroom. Hopefully the classroom and transfer stuff went out with chavis

Agree. Not sure Beckwith leaves at this point. He doesn't look ready to me. NFL game is different and I think he fits it well but he needs that final year to maximize his draft stock. I just hope he's smarter in the big picture than some others that have left early recently

I mean hunter could have been a first round pick if he returned. He chose otherwise and still came out pretty good (3rd round) not sure how he is doing in Minnesota now, but he got paid. The only difference with beckwith is this is his second year playing LB in his entire career. He might get convinced by Les and Steele to come back to learn more and get better in his pass coverage. If he comes back he will basically be the biggest recruit we landed this year.
